6 and under (6u) - is tee ball. Our Tee-Ball program is designed to teach the fundamentals of baseball (hitting and fielding) in a supportive, positive, team environment. Players must be at least 4 years old by the signup date. All batters will hit from a batting tee that is adjusted to a height that allows the batter to swing level work toward coach pitch baseball as the season progresses.
8 and under (8u) - is coach pitch baseball. Our 8U Coach Pitch program is designed to expound the fundamentals of baseball (hitting and fielding) at a Coach Pitch level in a supportive, positive, team environment. All batters will hit from a baseball pitched by the coach, Interested players will receive pitching coaching throughout the season to prepare for the 10U Kid Pitch Level.
11 and under (11u) - is kid pitch baseball. Our 11U Kid Pitch Baseball program is designed to expound on the fundamentals of baseball (hitting and fielding) in a supportive, positive, team environment.All batters will receive pitches from the other kid players. All rostered players present for the game will bat in order, and play the field. An adult coach will provide instruction from the dugout
The players age eligibility is determined by the September 30, 2024 and will be in effect for both the fall and spring season of the current school year
NOTE - Jr & Sr Farm games will be played mainly on Saturdays, with the possibility of weeknight games. Games can be played either at Charlestown Athletics Park (WKYA) or Kempsville Rec / Kempsville Elem (KRA), Salem Woods Park (LSR) and Munden Point Park/ Creeds Elem / Blackwater Park (Creeds Rec). This is all depending on who we are able to interleague with for the season.

Games are played on Saturday morning/early afternoon at Charleston Athletic Complex and Kempsville Recreation Center
What equipment does my child need?
Glove(mandatory) Helmet, bat and cleats (recommended)
All players will be issued a jersey and hat prior to the start of games
Coaches will let you know what color pants/socks to purchase
When are practices and how long do they last?
Jr. Farm/Sr. Farm will practice twice a week for approximately 90 minutes
*coaches will have choice of which days they would like to practice
